Applying systems thinking to real-world challenges
Redpill works across places, sectors and investment challenges where economic, environmental, social and financial outcomes need to be understood together.
Darwin Vantage provides a common decision and investment intelligence capability across that work.
California
Wildfire resilience, water, insurance and investment
California faces a connected resilience challenge: reducing wildfire risk, protecting water and critical infrastructure, improving the evidence available to insurers, and finding more durable ways to fund prevention before losses occur.
Napa County is the first major proof point. Darwin Vantage is being applied across community mitigation, water and infrastructure, insurance, policy and finance to test how resilience can be connected, maintained and better funded over time.
The work is also helping shape the California Optimization Bond — a Redpill-designed approach that starts with the resilience outcomes and value to be created, then asks which funding and financing tools are actually appropriate.

Wales
Nature, industry and investment
Our work in Wales brings nature, industrial transition, economic development and investment into the same decision framework.
It has helped develop a nature with net zero approach: looking beyond carbon alone to understand how industrial and infrastructure investment can also strengthen places, ecosystems and long-term economic value.
Nepal
Sustainable tourism and regional investment
In Nepal, Darwin Vantage is being applied to sustainable tourism and regional development.
The work connects nature, communities, enterprise, infrastructure and investment to identify practical pathways for economic growth while protecting the natural and cultural assets on which that opportunity depends.
Emerging geographies
Latin America and West Africa
We are developing applications of Darwin Vantage around climate, nature, water, commodities, livelihoods and sustainable economic development— helping identify where economic and environmental value can be created together.
Nature and resilience finance
From architecture to delivery
Darwin Vantage is also being applied to nature and resilience finance, including blended finance, guarantees and risk-sharing, insurance-linked resilience and outcomes-based approaches.
The starting point is the underlying challenge: what needs to happen, what value will it create, who benefits and where can capital genuinely help?
Finance should follow the solution, not define it.
Different systems. One discipline.
Better evidence. Better decisions. Better deployment of capital. Better real-world outcomes.
